PREVIEWof the OPENING SCENE
This scene opens the film and sets the visual style and tone. In it, a butterfly flies through the city and into an 'E-park'. This scene ends with the butterfly landing on a desk and a character touching it to reveal it is an entirely mechanical creature.

PLOT
The story is set in a futuristic San Francisco where society is divided by the very small wealthy and the very large poor. Things are so expensive, it costs $1000 just to enter a park.

The main character is a government-paid assassin who learns that his patriotism has blinded him from the realities of his deadly deeds. But getting away from his job isn't as easy as he thinks.

Think of this film as 'Bladerunner meets Polar Express'.

THE FILMMAKER
This film is an entirely new creation of mine with nearly every facet created by one person including the photography, animation, design, editing and even music. For a résumé and to view video samples of previous work, click here.

THE FILM
This film would be one of the first films of its kind made entirely by one person using a computer and various software programs. I would be creating digital characters as well as mixing live footage with animation to create a unique painterly-look and feel to the film

Most of difficult work has been done including writing the story and conceptualizing the look and feel of the film. What is required now is the time to finish the film within a 16 month period and then submit it to major festivals and make available to distribution channels. The main goal is to have the film acquired for wide distribution.
